This book systematically and thoroughly studies the impact of manufacturing service transformation on employment structure and the corresponding response strategies. It explores the mechanisms through which manufacturing service transformation affects employment structure from three perspectives: industrial linkage, spatial interaction and global value chain, and conducts empirical tests using data from micro enterprises, meso industries and macro regions to comprehensively assess the impact of manufacturing service transformation on employment structure in China, and proposes policy recommendations to promote the coordinated development of manufacturing service transformation and employment structure optimization based on the findings.
