This year our book embraces several new features. First,it constructs ‘shared security’,treating it as a theoretical orientation and value goal of non-traditional security governance. Second, it reviews the formulation of the non-traditional security. Third,it provides comparative studies on non-traditional security issues among different countries, and deepens theoretical explorations of important fields in non-traditional security. In particular, the study continues research on ‘intertwined security’ studies embodied by the compounding of domestic-global,territory and national, traditional-nontraditional,development and security problems and self-security. Simply put, this book displays recent improvements and progress made by China on non-traditional security studies.
