Annual Report on Development of China’s Audio-Visual New Media (2015), also called as Blue Book of China’s Audio-Visual New Media 2015, is the third annual report on the audio-visual new media development compiled by the Development Research Center, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT) of the People’s Republic of China. This book presents the general development recently of China’s audio-visual new media.
The book is composed by six sections, namely, Pandect, Industry Annual Progress, Focuses, Global Perspective, Voices and Views, and Appendix.
In Pandect, three speeches delivered by Mr.TIAN Jin, the Vice-Minister of SAPPRFT are recommended. Those three speeches cover views on media convergence, supervision on Internet audio-visual program and its production. As one significant document from Chinese authority, this section will greatly contribute to policy research and industry development of China’s audio-visual new media. In the fourth report, the current situation and trend of China’s audio-visual new media are summarized.
Comprised by twelve independent reports, the broad and informative views on various audio-visual new media development are presented in Industry Annual Progress. Specifically, it includes the development of internet audio-visual, mobile audio-visual (include Mobile TV), IPTV, internet TV, public audio-visual carrier etc. In order to provide a comprehensive overview, many key topics are covered, including contents development, channel expanding, terminal innovation, URS, technical progress expand development from domestic market to international market and supervision on industry.
In Focuses, two hot issues, namely Media Convergence and Industrial Innovation are concerned. With theoretical analysis, practical experiences and classic case study, the performances on media convergence and innovation achieved by traditional mainstream broadcast and television media are presented in this section. More important, some useful and innovative experiences come into view by those analyses.
To provide reference for China’s media practitioners, Global Perspective introduces foreign audio-visual new media’s innovation in development and management in recent two years.
In Voice and Views, the insights and predictions on audio-visual new media development, which are delivered by outstanding experts and managers both in the industry and academic fields from home and abroad are presented.
In Appendix, the book concisely sorts out the related Memorabilia. And ten keywords of China’s audio-visual new media development are concluded. Authorized by 2nd China Internet Audio-visual Conference and 2014 China Audio-visual Media Forum, this section also officially releases the annual top innovators of China Audio-visual Media.
